Some catholics so sentenced preferred in innocence to be burned and be saved, rather than to lie about the foulest crimes, of which they were not guilty, and deserve punishment; to these the master himself promised martyrdom.
Others, who were weaker, chose rather to lie than be burned, but these had to name the members of the ‘school’, and they replied: ‘I do not know whom to accuse... tell me the names of those whom you suspect’; when the names of the Count of Sain, the Count of Amsberg, and the Countess of Looz were proposed to one person, [he] replied, wishing to be ambiguous: ‘they are as guilty as I am, and they were in the school as I was’. In this way brother accused brother, husband wife, master servant and servant master. Others gave bribes to those who had been shaved, to show them a way of escaping, and confusion unheard-of for centuries resulted.

Who's who in the Order. Add notes on any magus or maga that's been introduced in game! Feel free to make a list of "Characters important to my PC," too! (Yes, a given character can be on as many lists as you like.)
Who's who in the mundane world. Add notes on any historical figure or non-magus that's been introduced! As above, you can list characters who are just important to your PC, or who are important to everyone.
